Introduction
The Government sent in May to the Congress a bill destined to encourage the exploration of hydrocarbons, with the purpose of increasing oil and gas reserves in the country. The proposal involves tax benefits for those companies that make investments in the area. The intention is that Argentina may go into partnership with private companies through State-run energy company ENARSA and develop joint undertakings.
