On May 28, 1999, MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company formerly CaLEnergy Company, Inc. (the "Insured") filed an application for compensation (referred to herein as the "Original Claim") for expropriation under four Contracts of Insurance (Nos. E374, E453, E572, and E579)?
