Introduction
On 24 May 2004, the French Government filed with the National Assembly a draft bill setting trends for energy. An amended text was adopted on 1 June 2004. The Senate produced a new draft on 10 June 2004. A second reading of the draft was performed by the Deputies on 29 mars 2005 and by the Senators on 4 May 2005. As the two bodies were unable to agree on a same text, a joint commission (" commission mixte paritaire ") of the Parliament meet to finally agree on a on a single text on 21 June 2005 dealing with windpower on land and at sea and modifying some provisions of the law ...
