UNCTAD, 15 February 2005 -- The Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the Kyoto Protocol, which enters into force tomorrow and is aimed at reducing the greenhouse gas emissions of industrialized countries, could become an important source of new finance for projects in developing countries, says a forthcoming article in Transnational Corporations.
