Abstract
This paper explores the issue of clean coal technologies during the G8 climate change negotiations, taking place at Gleneagles, Scotland in 2005. The report is based on ERM's recent experiences in the provision of energy and climate change consulting services to government and industry, where the authors have been providing advice on the role of clean coal technologies in emerging economies.
