Abstract
On the seventh of June 2005, the European Court of Justice gave its first interpretative judgment concerning the Directive on internal market for electricity. The judgment concerns preferential access to an electricity interconnector by an undertaking that previously held a monopoly, because of agreements concluded prior to the liberalization of the EC energy markets.
