Much has been written in Brazil about institutional matters concerning economic activities involving the natural gas transport by pipelines, however, mostly they are made without analyzing its historic path or the juridical and political reasons that gave rise to the legal scenario that we have today with the dispositions of the Articles 177 and 25 from the Brazilian Federal Constitution of 1988.
