Introduction
The dominant Danish supplier and distributor of gas, DONG, is to adjust the terms for transmission and gas storages in order to promote Third Party Access. This follows from a ruling from the Danish Energy Agency (Energitilsynet) dated 17 June 2002. According to the ruling DONG shall not later than 1 October 2002 remove a requirement of hourly balancing of supply and deliveries, introduced according to DONG to prevent abuse of the transmission system.
