The Nabucco Pipeline Project

Introduction
The Nabucco pipeline project envisages a 2,100 mile (3,400 kilometre) pipeline running from Turkey to Austria. It is a joint venture project between a number of energy companies: Botas (Turkey), Bulgargaz (Bulgaria), Transgaz (Romania), MOL (Hungary) and OMV (Austria). ABN Amro will be involved in an advisory role.
