The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries namely the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, and Kuwait have been undergoing transformational changes to their power sectors as a result of increasing demands for power due to rapid population, commercial and industrial growth in their respective countries.
