Introduction
On 11 September 2002 the new government - the liberal/conservative coalition - published a new Danish government strategy for the liberalisation of the energy market. The strategy is composed by two documents, on liberalisation of the energy market together with a background report, and is intended to create the basis for a public political debate. It is expected that the new strategy will have legal implications - and amendments to the energy laws are expected to follow in the spring of 2003.
