Abstract
The Government of Papua New Guinea is undertaking first ever licensing round to promote an unlicensed area of the Gulf of Papua, Southern Papua New Guinea. The Government granted consent to Fugro Multiclient Services to re-assess the prospectivity of the vacant area, which has challenged the previous perception of the area, thus, prompting the Government of Papua New Guinea to put the area on offer.
