Legal Issues in Pipeline Integrity Programmes

Introduction
With the formalization of integrity-management rules in the USA, pipeline operators were faced, in some cases, with starting integrity-management programmes (IMP). In other cases, operators were faced with formalizing and integrating programmes which may have existed as separate components, but were not necessarily working in concert as required under the new rules.
