Introduction
Art. 23 bis of Law Decree n. 112 of 25 June 2008 (consolidated into law by Law n. 133 of 6
August 2008) reformed the local public services of economic relevance, already regulated by art.
113 of Legislative Decree n. 267 of 18 August 2000 (the Local Authorities Law). The reform is
likely to have a significant effect on gas distribution concessions, which will be assigned in
the near future.
