Introduction
Some industry insiders have wondered about the likely impact of a reduction in OPEC black oil quotas on the domestic supply of associated gas in some Persian Gulf countries. Until a few years ago any reduction in the OPEC black oil quota was likely to affect local gas supplies and also to reduce energy supplies in the summer months.
