Introduction
Since the beginning of the bull market for raw materials and energies 2006 to 2008 the European security of energy supply is a topic of utmost actuality. It has culminated with the supply disruptions in the wake of the Russian-Ukrainian gas disputes in the winters 2005/2006 and 2008/2009, when the security of supply is discussed in the light of defense politics and an Energy-NATO.
