Abstract
The purpose of this paper is describe the regime for the public consultations of indigenous
peoples specifically established for the hydrocarbons industry in Bolivia and
the regulations existing and proposed in Peru, with the intention of making
some suggestions for their possible improvement, based on industry experience.
