Introduction
This article is about the relationship between grid codes and tariffs on the one hand and contracts on the other. Basically, the article discusses Polish law and Polish contracting practice, but it does also offer some reflections under EU law. My purpose is to analyse a development observable in Poland where provisions that were traditionally agreed in contracts are now shifted to grid codes and tariffs. What causes this process?
