Introduction
This paper addresses the possible impacts of Brexit on the United Kingdom's current and future interconnectors. Interconnectors facilitate European energy integration by enabling energy to be traded throughout the European Union. This in turn protects supply security of states within the EU. Due to their economic and social importance, interconnectors receive funding from the EU and are also heavily regulated.
