Case-Based Management of Legal Risks - The Example of LNG Projects

Abstract
This study adopts a moderate approach, compared with a fully automated method, to develop a case-based framework for the management of legal risks, together with responses and patterns of argument, from judicial decisions. Working by the logic of similarity, the proposed legal risk management plan (LRMP) enables lawyers and risk managers to identify high priority risks, develop risk avoidance, mitigation, transfer and sharing strategies, and construct tailor-made corpora to build arguments for new litigations.
