Abstract
The introduction of the Clean Energy for All Europeans package brought about major changes regarding the European Union's Energy Policy. With Directive 2018/2001 as a part of the package, tendering procedures as market-based mechanisms will gain importance as a key support instrument for renewable energies in the European Union (EU).
