Abstract
The objective of this paper is to examine the regulatory and policy issues impeding integra-tion targets in Ghanaian renewable energy sector. The Ghanaian government has set renew-able energy integration targets for the country by aiming to attain a 10% integration rate in the national total electricity generation mix by the end of 2020. It also aims achieve a 30% penetration of rural electrification via renewable energy technologies by 2020.
