Abstract
This study examines the relationship between the COVID-19 pandemic, revenue of utilities and the load profile of Greater Accra. The study employed the Dynamic OLS (DOLS) and the structural time series model (STSM). While the STSM incorporates a stochastic term, the underlying energy demand trend (UEDT) to capture exogenous latent variables, the DOLS overcomes modelling challenges such as serial correlation and endogeneity.
