Transformative Constitutionalism, Climate Change Mitigation, and Energy Transition

Abstract
Mitigating climate change is a global goal. Most countries are parties of the 1992 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Kyoto Protocol, the 2012 Doha Amendment to the Kyoto protocol, and the 2015 Paris Agreement. In addition, several recent constitutions - particularly of Global South countries- have entrenched explicit State commitments to mitigate climate change.
