Lithuania: Regulation of the electricity sector

The Lithuanian electricity sector is governed by the 10 October 2002 National Energy Strategy, 20 July 2000 Law on Electricity and implementing regulations. The sector involves: market operator; electricity generators; transmission system operator; public and independent suppliers; eligible customers (entitled to choose the supplier).
