Introduction
With growing gas consumption forecast for the South American continent, this paper analyses what and where are the prospects for LNG. By showing how the present gas infrastructure supplies present demand and showing where expansions to this network are planned, it aims to determine areas which will be short of supply. The paper also illustrates what internal and external LNG trade is feasible considering the forecast supply shortages.
