Summary
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is a major source of finance for the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and for the CIS countries. Since its inception, it has committed a total of € 21.3 billion in 938 projects. In addition, these projects have mobilised a total of € 45.5 billion in third party funds, bringing the cumulative total of funds committed in projects with EBRD participation since 1991 to € 66.8 billion.
