Memorandum Opinion and Order

Petitioner, the Slovak Republic ("Petitioner" or the "Slovak Republic"), seeks to confirm and enforce an arbitration award entered by an international tribunal against Discovery Global LLC ("Discovery"). After the Slovak Republic effected service, Discovery failed to enter an appearance, and the Slovak Republic moved for entry of default and default judgment. Discovery has not entered an appearance or otherwise opposed the Motion. After careful consideration of the Motion, pleadings, record, and applicable law, the court grants the Motion and issues judgment in favor of the Slovak Republic.
