Special OGEL publication with a focus on Africa
1 June 2006
NOTE: The special feature was published in 2006, see the table of contents here.
We are preparing a special OGEL publication with a focus on Africa and would therefore be interested in articles and comments especially those on recent developments of broad interest in Africa; including but not limited to the World Bank stand over the amendment of Chad's Petroleum Revenue Management Law, the role of the African Petroleum Producers Association (APPA), the EITI in Africa, the new Nigerian PSC and the draft Mining Bill, the Public Bid for the Oil Sector in Angola, developments in Mozambique and elsewhere in Africa, relationships between the NOC's and IOCs in Africa, energy trade between African countries, developments in the gulf of guinea etc.
There is no doubt that Africa is on the cusp of a large oil boom and articles that dwell on creating a policy environment for turning this oil wealth into viable post-oil economies for poverty eradication are also welcome.
