Dr. Leon Moller
Profile
Leon is Course Leader for Oil and Gas Law (LLM/MSc), and lectures in Oil and Gas Law at the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland. He specialises in energy, oil and gas law, oil and gas contract law and international law of the sea, including teaching and supervising postgraduate research (PhD research). Prior to joining the University Leon worked as solicitor in Aberdeen advising oil and gas companies on their North Sea and West Africa operations. His previous roles include Petroleum Commissioner (Namibian Ministry of Mines and Energy) and Legal Officer (National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia). Leon has experience in the UK’s energy and upstream oil and gas sectors including oil and gas agreements, LOGIC Contracts, the decommissioning of offshore installations. Middle Eastern, West and Southern African energy and oil and gas sectors are also areas of expertise. He has a PhD and LLM in International Natural Resources Law from the University of Dundee, Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP) in Scotland.
