The author is currently working on his PHD thesis (on International Law) under the auspices of Dr. Seyed Jamal Seifi for Shahid Beheshti University (Tehran) about Iran's membership in the Energy Charter Treaty. However the article "The Iranian Buyback Model and Its Efficiency in the International Petroleum Market - A Legal View" has not been reviewed by the author's academic supervisor and does not represent the views of his academic supervisor. The author is a lawyer and has been working in oil and gas industry in legal and contractual functions for different companies.
