Ngozi Chinwa Ole is a Consultant-Managing Associate, at Alliance Law Firm (Nigeria) a top-tier energy law practice in Africa. She is a Senior Lecturer and Head, of Public Law, at Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Nigeria. Ngozi is the Research Team Head, of the Environment and Water Regulation Unit at, the African Centre of Excellence for Water and Environmental Research (ACEWATER), Nigeria. She is a UNESCO Groundwater Youth Ambassador. She holds an LLM in petroleum law and, a PhD from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Prior to the latter, she obtained a first-class degree in law with several academic awards including the Gani Fawehnimi Endowment Award for Best Graduating Law Students in Nigeria. She is also a recipient of several international awards and, grants including, the AIEN 2018 Conference Scholarship Award, Recognition of Excellence in Service as the President of the University of Aberdeen AIEN Club, International Ambassador of Peace Award, NULAI/Open Society Initiative Award on Clinical Legal Education, etc. She has taught energy law-related courses at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland; Redeemers University, Nigeria etc. Her publications feature in top-tier international energy law journals and cut across various themes such as decommissioning of petroleum installations and off-grid renewable electricity.
