Dr. Khalid Al-saleem is a Lecturer in law at the Duhok Administration and Economic School of the Dohuk University. He holds a PhD from the University of Portsmouth, LLM in International law from the University of Baghdad, LLB in law from the University of Mosul.
He is a member of the Council of Iraqi Lawyers in Baghdad, the Association of Iraqi Lawyers in Mosul, and the Iraqi Human Rights Association in Baghdad.
Dr. Al-saleem has delivered courses on Oil and Gas regulations and his research focuses on International Oil and Gas Agreements, and Energy Security issues. He has several legal publications to his credit in different academic journals in both Kurdish and Arabic languages.
One of the major research interests of Dr. Al-saleem is the Iraqi and KRG Oil and Gas legal regime in particular and the Iraqi energy policy in general.
