Hussein Badreddine

Hussein is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Public International Law at UNSW Canberra where he also serves as a research assistant.
Prior to his current academic pursuits, Hussein practiced in a Lebanese Law firm where he represented and acted on behalf of national and international clients in cases involving corporate law, criminal law, intellectual property, and energy law. In addition, Hussein advised, drafted, and reviewed governmental policies. Hussein has experience assisting Oil and Gas Lawyers advising International Oil and Gas Companies in the Middle East regarding Model Contracts, Exploration and Production Agreements and Tender Protocols; and in researching and preparing studies on Oil and Gas topics including Maritime Law, Unitization, Joint Operating Agreements, Health, Safety and the Environment.
Hussein holds a bachelor in comparative French and Lebanese law and has completed an LLM in Oil and Gas Law from Aberdeen University with honours. Furthermore, Hussein has completed his Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) with the University of Law - London. He is fluent in French, Arabic, and English, in addition to his basic Italian knowledge
