Is a prominent lawyer and law lecturer at UPSA Law School in Accra where she teaches Energy Law, Natural resources law, environmental law, She is the 2022 International Bar Association Outstanding Young Lawyer Award recipient, a historic achievement as the first Ghanaian woman recipient. Alongside her legal pursuits, she champions gender diversity in the energy sector through her leadership in the African Women in Energy Development Initiative.
Professionally, Yorm is a Senior International Attorney at CLG, specializing in energy and tax law. She advises local and international stakeholders in oil and gas, showcasing expertise in project management, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution. Notable contributions include advising Ghana's government on energy recovery programs and reviewing Power Purchase Agreements.
Yorm holds a postgraduate degree in oil and gas law from the University of Aberdeen and certifications in human rights and oil and gas law from Fordham University. She is also certified by the Oil & Gas Academy of Scotland as an Oil & Gas Contract Negotiator. She is also a facilitator at the MOR Institute of Petroleum Energy Studies.
Furthermore, Yorm actively contributes to thought leadership through panel discussions and academic research in the energy sector. Her commitment to transparency is evident through her representation of the Ghana Bar Association on the Public Interest and Accountability Committee (PIAC), PIAC is an independent statutory body mandated to promote transparency and accountability in the management of petroleum revenues in Ghana) ensuring accountability in Ghana's oil revenue management.
