Albert Quashigah is a Law Lecturer with over ten years teaching experience. A lecturer at the UPSA Law School, Albert teaches Constitutional Law, Energy Law, and Natural resources Law. Currently, he is researching many issues in the national legal and regulatory framework for Ghana's uptake of nuclear power as a baseload energy. Climate change action towards mitigation, Resilience and Adaptation are also being considered as priority research areas. Green House Gas Emissions market are also areas of interest.
He is a senior lawyer at the Ghana Bar, and has considerable experience covering review of contracts, Oil and Gas Agreements, litigation strategy, arbitration and has several publications to his credit, on questions of justice in the Energy space, Climate Change and climate change action and constitutional questions. Albert has published in many peer reviewed journals on many research interest areas. One of his recent publications focuses on the role of PIAC, in ensuring the compliance with oil revenue management laws. Besides these peer reviewed publications, he has since 2011 contributed many several Full paged opinions to Ghana's foremost newspaper, the Daily Graphic.
Albert holds a Master of Laws degree (General) from The George Washington University. USA.
