Yusuf Ercan Özercan

Yusuf Ercan Özercan a PhD student in the Law and Economics Program at the Escuela Internacional de Doctorado CEU (CEINDO), Universidad CEU San Pablo. Yusuf's doctoral research focuses on the legal and regulatory frameworks that enable the integration of electric vehicles (EVs) into European energy markets. Specifically, Yusuf analyzes the role of smart charging, vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technologies, and demand-side flexibility in the context of the EU's electricity market legislation and energy transition objectives.
Yusuf holds two Master's degrees: one in European Union from Universidad CEU San Pablo, and another in European Union Law from Ankara University. Both of his master's theses explore legal dimensions of EU energy markets, including consumer empowerment and regulatory reforms. He also holds a Bachelor of Laws from Dokuz Eylül University.
