Ehteshamul Hoq is a Bar Training Course (BTC) candidate at BPP University, Manchester, and holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of London, an LLM with a GPA of 3.98/4.0 from Southeast University, Dhaka, and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Humanitarian Law from NALSAR University of Law, India. He currently works as a Legal Consultant, at Chancery Solicitors Limited, Manchester, where he manages litigation files, drafts correspondence and supporting documents, and conducts legal research across lease and land as well as immigration matters. He completed a mini pupillage at 23 Essex Street Chambers, Manchester, in November 2025, gaining direct exposure to advocacy, bundle preparation, and skeleton argument drafting across multiple practice areas. Ehteshamul is an Assistant Professor of Law at Southeast University, Dhaka (currently on study leave), Bangladesh and has published twelve peer-reviewed articles on environmental law, international humanitarian law, criminal justice, and consumer protection. He is a member of the Gray's Inn AGIS Student Law Journal editorial board, the UK Environmental Law Association, and the Supreme Court Bar Association of Bangladesh, where he practiced as an advocate for 16 years before relocating to the United Kingdom.
