Jan-Erik Svensson is a partner of the Danish law firm Gorrissen Federspiel Kierkegaard. He is responsible for the firm's practice on competition and energy law, domestic as well as EC, advising Danish and foreign clients on mergers and acquisitions and regulatory matters, and in this connection negotiating with the Danish Competition Council, the Danish Energy Authority and the European Commission.

Mr Svensson was admitted to the Danish Bar in 1977, and is admitted to the Supreme Court in Denmark and is a Member of the Association of Danish Lawyers, appearing at regular intervals before the Supreme Court (Højesteretsskranken). He has extensive experience in litigation before the Danish Courts and the EC Courts in Luxembourg.
