CMS Cameron McKenna is an international law firm with a leading international energy practice. Tim is dual qualified having been admitted as a solicitor in Scotland in 1993 and in England & Wales in 1996. He is a consultant in the energy team, and is based at the firm's Edinburgh office. Tim works in the renewables sector, primarily on wind farm issues. He has led various projects from site identification onwards, including options, lease work, planning and ancillary issues. Tim has been on secondment to energy operators and to contractors, and has negotiated project contracts as well as attending to wide ranging corporate matters. He has worked in general commercial law, including experience in M&A transactions and in commercial and environmental property issues. He spent some time in Indonesia, and presented a paper "Revitalising the Power Market in Indonesia" at the Power in Asia Conference 2000 in Singapore.
