OGEL Call for Papers: Special Issue on "Circular Economy and the Energy Transition"
8 October 2020
Update June 2021: Proposals for this special are no longer accepted, should you have suggestions for a paper along these lines simply contact us at info@ogel.org to discuss the topic.
Oil, Gas and Energy Law Intelligence (www.ogel.org) invites submissions for a Special issue covering Circular Economy and the Energy Transition.
The issue will aim at exploring the interconnections between these two strategic goals, with the objective of highlighting major synergies but also potential contradictions. Circularity may impact the energy transition from the point of view of both demand and supply. It may be introduced/promoted in the operations of the energy sector in its widest definition and support greater energy sustainability. But there are also possible contradictions between promoting an energy transition and the goal of circularity, which deserve to be explored.
We encourage submission of relevant papers, studies, and brief comments on various aspects of this subject. We are interested in examples of legislation / regulation implemented or in fieri; government policies otherwise promoted; corporate strategies; and technological solutions.
The minimum word count of articles should be 5000 words (excluding footnotes, endnotes, appendices, tables, summary etc.). Articles should include summaries (150-200 words). The layout of the articles should conform to OGEL’s submission guidelines available at: www.ogel.org/contribute.asp (more information available upon request).
Feel free to forward this call for papers to colleagues who may be interested in contributing to the special issue.
